Miracles still happen. More so, if many pray for it. This was evident last Friday, March 28, 2008 when God’s blessings continuously poured on our desks as we experienced endless receipts of collections from the sale of the raffle tickets. Honestly, last March 25, 2008, three days prior to the raffle draw, we felt a little bit nervous as total collections stood only at approximately P114,600.00. This was our report made to the Board of Trustees (BOT) in its meeting on said date. But then the BOT, without buts and ifs, decided to push the holding of the raffle draw on March 28, 2008 to coincide with the 17th anniversary of our community.

Our congratulations to all the winners!!!.
As of March 28, 2008, total gross collection surprisingly reached the amount of P293,140.00. With the computed expenses of about P65,874, the net amount to be remitted to Mater Dei ME Community is P227,266.00 more or less. We are still expecting more receivables in a few days from some of our brothers and sisters in the community.
The Temporalities Ministry (with our CIC Ric Sally Rey) was so glad with the results of our raffle activity. With this, we want to thank the Lord Almighty and Jesus Christ thru our Mama Mary who, from the start, gave us the strengths to move on and proceed with these undertakings. Secondly, we likewise express our heartfelt gratitude to all who unselfishly rendered their benevolent support in the distribution and selling of the raffle tickets. We know how difficult nowadays to sell raffle tickets like these, however, because of your great assistance, everything became possible. Lastly, we wish to thank the members of the Board of Trustees who were always there giving us moral support and advise. Thank you and God bless us all!!!. |
