The union of Seven (7) of our Mater Dei Marriage Encounter couples was formalized in a solemn ceremony at the Mass Wedding officiated by Fr. Jorge Moreno last Friday, August 1, 2008 at the Sto. Domingo Church, Quezon City.

The occasion was coordinated by Shepherd Couple Ricky Mafe Lacaba. They were assisted by MEW Class 250 with Couple Jun Minda Licardo taking the lead in facilitating the conduct of the Confirmation Seminar and Pre-Cana Seminar as pre requisites for the Wedding Rites by the Sto. Domingo Church and the compliance to the documentation requirements from Quezon City Hall .

Later in the day, the Newly-Weds, namely: Jo Romel Acierto, (246); Lito Marilou Ang, (253); Gilbert Gay Cocollo, (249); Ian Marie De Las Alas,(254); Nani Apen Garcia, (251); Well Neth Magalong, (249); and Gerry Glo Perales (249); were presented to the Mater Dei Marriage Encounter Community during the First Friday Mass officiated by Fr. Domie Guzman.

The couples experienced a double treat when Fr. Domie Guzman administered his blessing to them apart from the usual blessing given to the Wedding Anniversary and Birthday celebrators.
