The Workers’ Meeting last Sunday, December 7, 2008 at Patio Conchita, Intramuros, Manila, marked the last working session for the year for the different ministries in our community. It was attended by the Heads of Ministries, Chaircouples, CICs and Coordinators with Bro. Domeng Rodillas as guest speaker.

Bro. Domeng’s inspiring message dwelt on following the call to serve the Lord wherein a follow-thru Forum was conducted by the members of the Board. At the forum, participants shared their plans and programs on the issue “How can I help my Community?” while the Board of Trustees processed their inputs to ensure that everyone will be guided to the same direction in pursuit of the Mater Dei Marriage Encounter Community Mission .

Later in the day, our Workers lighted their own candles for our Sta. Maria Mater Dei Float as number 33 in the Grand Marian Procession which toured the inner walls of Intramuros, Manila. The procession consisted of 84 floats bearing the different images of Mama Mary from the different parts of our Archipelago.

Indeed, there is Indulgence in joining a procession. Its blessings come in many different forms. That day, we were blessed to have Couple Boy Chit Escosio, ME Class 173 acting as our exclusive Hermano/Hermana Mayor. They generously provided dinner for our participants of the procession.
