With the collaboration of the three Marriage Encounter Communities namely The Good Shepherd, The Blessed Sacrament and The Mater Dei, the First Sunday TV Mass of February was aired over Channel 13 at 9am. last February 1, 2009 with Rev. Fr. Bel San Luis as officiating priest.

The participation of the  Mater Dei Marriage Encounter Community was made possible through the efforts of our TV Mass Committee composed of Couples Freddie Miriam Santos, Lony Rhodora Bohol, Ding Susan Mayor, Neil Letty Gepilano and Bro. Oggie Mercado together with M.E. Class 149 led by their shepherd, Lorenz Weng Tabilog.  During the mass,  Sis. Rhodora Bohol was the commentator, Bro. Sam Asia and Bro Freddie Santos were Lay Ministers and the offerors were M.E. Class 260 under Shepherd Boyet Jenny Gumabao, Sis. Miriam Santos, and Ding Susan Mayor.  Jennie, daughter of Bro. Sam, was also present to take pictures of the occasion for our community’s posterity.

Plans are now underway  for the commemoration of the 18th Anniversary Celebration of the Mater Dei M.E. Community on March 25, 2009.  One of the highlights for the occasion is the sponsorship of one Sunday TV Mass. 

Taping will be held on Saturday,  March 21 at 9 o’clock in the morning at The Garden, Christ the King Seminary and will be aired on the same time slot on Channel 13 on Sunday, March 22, 2009.  Rev. Fr. Bel San Luis will officiate the mass.
