For the benefit of the new members, specially those who joined the community starting February of 2009, I would like to introduce our Board of Trustees. Ito po ay sila --

Nahalal po ang ating kasalukuyang Board of Trustees nuong Marso 2007 at manunungkulan sila hanggang Marso ng kasalukuyang taon. Ngayong taon ay election year sa ating bansa at sa ating community. Let us pray for the guidance of the Holy Spirit before cast our votes.

Everytime I give the President’s Report, I always include our Vision and Mission. Lagi ko po itong ipinapaalala dahil sa mahalaga na maisa-isip at lalung-lalo na maisa-puso natin ang ating Vision at Mision. These statements capture the essence of what we want to be and how we are going to do it. Our vision statement is:
A community witnessing to Christ’s gospel of reconciliation in individual, conjugal, family and community life.

And, our mission statement is:

To build a Christ-centered community whose members are loving, caring and responsible couples and families for others through programs that will –

• Enrich, deepen & strengthen marriage and family relationships
• Nuture spiritual growth
• Render outreach services

The Apostolates and Ministries tasked to implement the programs and activities which are geared towards the achievement of our Vision and Mission are the following:
The seven (7) regular apostolates and ministries are the: (1) Marriage Life Apostolate; (2) Worship Ministry; (3) Spiritual Growth Apostolate; (4) Family Life Apostolate; (5) Outreach Apostolate; (6) Music Ministry; and (7) Research Training & Development Ministry.

The six (6) ministries performing staff functions are the: (1) Budget and Finance; (2) Central Secretariat; (3) General Services; (4) Information and Publications; (5) Temporalities; and (6) Traditional and Special Events.

Mula po nuong Pebrero 2009 hanggang Enero ng taong kasalukuyan, nagkaroon tayo ng walong (8) Marriage Encounter Weekends at tayo ay umani ng isang daan at labing-walo (118) na mag-asawahan at isang pari. Alam po natin na ang mga weekends ay naganap sa pangunguna at pagsisikap ng mga sponsoring classes.

Nag daos din tayo ng Family Encounter Weekend na dinaluhan ng limang pamilya at ng isang Sons and Daughters Encounter Weekend na dinaluhan ng dalampu at isa sa ating mga anak.

Maliban sa ating mga weekend seminars, ang ating community ay nagsagawa ng iba’t ibang mga gawain para sa ikalalago ng buhay spiritual ng ating mga miyembro, pati na ang kanilang pamilya.

Upang matugunan ang mga pinansyal na pangangailangan ng ating community, tayo ay nagsasagawa ng mga fund-raising activities. We used the proceeds of our fund-raising activities for our spiritual growth programs (stipend of speakers, rent of venue, snacks), for our office rental, and to purchase and maintain our office equipment and musical instruments.

Our Board has come up with certain significant policies which are geared towards the achievement of our Vision and Mission. The first is the creation of the Council of Elders which shall be composed of the founding elders of our Community. They are, Lony Rhodora Bohol, Romy Remy Lagman and Vigie Nelly Ventura. Inaasahang ang council ang magiging gabay ng ating Board of Trustees kung ano ang orihinal na layunin ng ating community.

Our Board has also earmarked P500,000 plus out of the proceeds of fund-raising projects as part of the initial Lot and Building Fund. At hinihingi po ng Board ang inyong pag-sang ayon sa Board Resolution na ito upang ang pag-iisang tabi ng kabuoang P1M ay maging General Assembly Resolution. Matagal na po nating panaginip na mag-karoon ng isang community center and the earmarking of P500,000 proceeds of fund-raising projects plus the donation of lot owners is a concrete step towards that dream. Sa darating na eleksyon para sa mga bagong Board of Trustees sa ika-5 ng Marso, magkakaroon ng tanong sa balota kung kayo ay sumasang ayon sa Resolution ng ating BOT. Kahit anuman po ang mapag pasiyahan ng ating mga miyembro, ang Board ay nagkasundo na gumawa ng isang Lot and Building Committee na magbabantay hanggang magawa ang ating community center.

Ang ating community ay mayoong website: www.materdeime.com. Makikita at mababasa ninyo dito ang mga mahahalagang bagay tungkol sa ating community. Meron din po tayong Group Account sa Facebook. Kung nais ninyong maging miyembro ng grupo, ibigay lamang po ang inyong email address kahit kanino sa ating mga Board of Trustees.
Bilang pang-wakas, lagi nating sinasabi na ang tunay na sponsor ng bawat MEWeekend ay ang buong Community at hindi lamang ang sponsoring class. Our mission is to Evangelize. Our mission is to bring couples closer to the Lord. Huwag tayong mag-sawa na tumulong sa mga mag sponsor ng MEWeekend.

Pasalamata natin ang ating Panginoon sa patuloy niyang pag-gabay at pagkalinga sa ating minamahal na Mater Dei. Pasalamatan din natin ang ating mga workers ng ating Apostolates and Ministries na siyang nagsasakatuparan ng mga programa ng ating community.
