December 28, 2007 was a Friday different from the other Fridays of the year (except Good Friday, of course). Our “prayer gathering” venue was the Quezon City Sports Club and everybody was excited to kick off their heels, win raffle prizes, and have an extended hob n0b with their classmates and other members of the community.

Like all important community activities, we started our Christmas Encounter with the Eucharistic celebration. Our evening was truly blessed because our Spiritual Director, Fr. Domie Guzman SSP, was the one who presided over the celebration of the Holy Mass. And, after the Mass, the community serenaded Fr. Domie in anticipation of his birthday the next day.

Our party was graced by our  Elders. We saw Lony Rhodora Bohol, Romy Remy Lagman, Vigie Nelly Ventura, Gonio Remy Yorobe, Bill Ding Zamora, Jun Adel Tambasacan and others from earlier classes. Our present Board of Trustees also came in full force. Also, most of our workers were in attendance.

We thank the Lord for all the blessings we have received in 2007 and we thank the Lord in advance for all the blessings we shall receive in 2008. We thank the Traditional and Special Events Ministry headed by Albert Liza Flores for the over-all preparations, the Worship Ministry headed by Noy Gay Manalo for the Mass, the Music Ministry headed by Joji Fe Guballa for the choir, Bong Salvador and Mylene Pineda for being the hosts of the evening, Oggie Thelma Mercado for the venue, everyone who provided the wonderful raffle prizes, and everyone who contributed to the success of the party.
