We wish to greet our members a Happy Eighteenth Anniversary! As our Spiritual Adviser, Rev. Fr. Domie Guzman, SSP has keenly observed, our community may have been the beneficiary of undeserved blessings and bounty because we have lasted this long. As members of the community, we should cherish and nurture this gift of life from the Lord. Like the servant who was given talents by his master, we should strive to double what has been entrusted to us many times over. This means that we should not only aim for a longer life for our community but, more importantly, we should pray for a meaningful and relevant existence.

This year, we have formally announced that we intend to have our very own Community Center before we celebrate our Silver Anniversary. It is an ambitious dream but not an impossible one. We need funding (lots and lots of it) to transform this dream into reality. But before anything else, we need to enkindle in every member the passion of believing in and living the dream. We should all get fired-up with this project. Let us all do our share. Let us just bear in mind that, like most projects, the difficult part is always the early stages—the birthing pains. But, if we all put our hearts and minds to it, the Lord will surely bless our collective efforts. After all, that is what GRACE is all about. And, isn’t that amazing?
