Before we give our report, we wish to remind and refresh everybody’s as regards our Vision and Mision.

Mahalaga po na maisa-isip at lalung-lalo na maisa-puso natin ang ating Vision at Mision. These statements capture the essence of what we want to be and how we are going to do it. Our vision statement is:

A community witnessing to Christ’s gospel of reconciliation in individual, conjugal, family and community life.

And, our mission statement is:

To build a Christ-centered community whose members are loving, caring and responsible couples and families for others through programs that will –

• Enrich, deepen & strengthen marriage and family relationships
• Nuture spiritual growth
• Render outreach services

The Apostolates and Ministries tasked to implement the programs and activities which are geared towards the achievement of our Vision and Mission are the following:The seven (7) regular apostolates and ministries are: (1) Marriage Life Apostolate; (2) Worship Ministry; (3) Spiritual Growth Apostolate; (4) Family Life Apostolate; (5) Outreach Apostolate; (6) Music Ministry; and (7) Research Training & Development Ministry.

The six (6) ministries performing staff functions are the: (1) Budget and Finance; (2) Central Secretariat; (3) General Services; (4) Information and Publications; (5) Temporalities; and (6) Traditional and Special Events.

Mula po nuong Pebrero 2008 hanggang  Enero ng taong kasalukuyan, nagkaroon tayo ng walong (8) Marriage Encounter Weekends at ito ay nagbunga ng isang daan at labing-pito (117) na graduates. Ito ay binubuo ng isang daan at labing lima (115) na mag-asawahan, isang (1) mag-papari, at isang (1) sister or nun. Alam po natin na ang mga weekends ay naganap sa pangunguna at pagsisikap ng mga sponsoring classes.

Kung napansin ninyo, nababawasan ang nagiging candidates ng ating ME Weekend taon-taon. Kami po sa board ay laging nag-iisip ng mga paraan kung paano madaragdagan ang ating mga candidates. Kami nga po ay lubos na nagpapasalamat sa ilan sa ating mga founding elders na sa isang pagpupulong ay nagpasiya na tumulong sa ating Community sa pamamagitan ng pagpapadala ng mga candidates sa ME Weekend.

Gaya po ng lagi nating sinasabi, ang tunay na sponsor ng bawat MEWeekend ay ang buong Community at hindi lamang ang sponsoring class. Our mission is to Evangelize. Our mission is to bring couples closer to God. Suportahan natin ang lahat ng mga magpapaklase hindi lamang sa tulong pinansyal pati na rim po tulong spiritual at moral.

In order to address some of the concerns of our Community, our board has approved the following policies:

1. The stipend of the Ecclesial Team for Marriage Encounter Weekends and Family Encounter Weekends have been increased as follows:

• Team Priest                              -            P6,000
• Team Couple                            -            P2,000
• Team Family                             -            P3,000
• Music Team (for MEW)            -            P2,000

2. The stipend of the Ecclesial Team (MEW and FEW) shall be fully subsidized by the community

3. The Reteat Houses where MEWeekends will be held shall be nearer Metro Manila starting April

4. Our community shall establish an electronic database of all our members

5. Our leaders shall have a medium/long term planning/worshop to build a road map which would serve as a guide for our community. Among those envisioned by the present leaders is a community center of our own before we celebrate our 25th year anniversary

6. Our community will have fund-raising activities to fund our lot/building project and the initial activity is a concert on September 27, 2009 dubbed: “As Grains of Wheat”

Sana po ay huwag tayong mag-sawa sa pag-suporta sa ating mga fund-raising activities dahil tayo rin ang makikinabang dito. Lagi nating ipanalain ang tagumpay ng ating mga proyekto.        

Bilang pangwakas, pasalamatan natin ang ating Panginoon sa patuloy niyang pag-gabay at pagkalinga sa ating minamahal na Mater Dei. Pasalamatan din natin ang ating mga Apostolates and Ministries na siyang nagsasakatuparan ng mga programa ng ating community.
