Friday the 13th as other people say is a day of misfortunes and bad luck. But for the five (5) families who were called by God and attended the Class 47 of Family Encounter Weekend (FEW) Seminar at the OMI Retreat House, Mapayapa Village, Quezon City, considered that particular Friday and its succeeding days (may 13-15, 2011, the luckiest days in their lives as a family. They manifested that FEW really makes a difference in their lives for they experienced and truly felt the love and blessings of our Lord Almighty. The weekend made them more closer ever to each member of their families and likewise had an extension with other families who were with them as classmate-families.

Sponsored by FE Class 46 Shepherd by the Perez Family, this year’s FEW had Rev. Fr. Domie Guzman, SSP as Team Priest with the presenting Team Families of Arman Linda Perez and Mon Noemi Giron. The participants were Godalle Family, Jimenez Family, Posas Family, and Versoza Family of the Mater Dei M.E. Community and Montejo Family from Our Lady of Anunciation ME Community of Marikina City.
