The 6th Mater Dei M.E. Community Invitational Golf Tournament was held last Sunday, May 29, 2011 at the Veterans Memorial Golf Course, Quezon City. Golf enthusiasts are never threatened by rainy weather hence the tandem of Domie Macabando and Pepe Basman teed off as early as 5:45am while 36 others queued their way to the greens.

Meanwhile, at the Clubhouse, amidst the Hawaiian inspired motif, non golfers were entertained by a live band provided by Willie San Juan and daughter. There were also bingo games and raffle draws as they await the participants for lunch time.

Not long after was the announcement of winners and awarding of trophies as follows:
Class C – 2nd runner up - Mandy Bautista
