To fulfill MDMEC’s mission of building a Christ-centered community of loving, caring and responsible couples and families, the Outreach Apostolate is continuously holding Marriage Encounter Weekends and Ugnayan Classes.

For the year 2010, the Apostolate, through the able leadership of Head Couple Chuck Lulu Aytona and the cooperation of Shepherd Couple Peter Olga Dela Cruz, the first Ugnayan Class was held at the Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Parish at Baranggay Cristo Rey, Capas, Tarlac last November 13, 2010. The seminar was also the first of its kind to be held in this parish and Rev. Fr. Renato L. Dimaculangan, STL was more than glad and grateful for the Apostolate for introducing this program to his parish.

From among the invited parishioners, seven (7) couples answered and heeded God’s call to participate in the seminar. Team couples Ed Cora Depano and Pris Vicky Contreras led the couple-participants in this one-whole day of talks and sharings. The talks were centered on the joys and struggles normal married couples encounter daily.

The seven couples who graduated with high spirit of commitment to God’s call of renewal of faith and strengthening marriagae vows are Lito Bea Bugnot, Hernand Pining Hernandez, Rudy Adang Castro, Buboy Mhy Manansala, Jimmy Cathy Tonelada, Bryan Joy Baluyot, Mike Lyn Ventura.

The Ugnayan Class No.1 would not have been a success if not for the selfless and voluntary services by the sponsoring class composed of Joey Tong Petrache, Joe Connie Gumba, Vic Josie Rubis, Lito Tess Rellama, Rene Cora Lorenzo, Agnes Chua, Taboy Chat Castro and Ed Glo Tapoc.

With the overwhelming response of the newly-evangelized couples to the program, the Apostolate is even more inspired to continue extending their services to as many families as possible.
