Head Couples and Chair Couples were convened by the Board of Trustees for a planning workshop. The day’s program was started with an opening prayer led by Bro. Demet Araniego, followed by joyful songs courtesy of Sis. Mylene Pineda. Bro. Ding Mayor gave his Welcome Remarks reiterating the importance of the participants’ dynamic involvement and participation in the process to finalize programs and activities for the year 2011. He took the opportunity to inform those in attendance the role of Mater Dei in the just concluded “Prayer Rally” organized by MEFP. A summary of programs and activities submitted by the different apostolates and ministries as their pre-planning output was presented to the body for review by Bro. Nono Delgado. Each apostolate/ministry representative/s actively participated in the deliberation and review of other apostolates/ministries programs, activities and schedules. BOTs present, took turns in clearing the air for clarifications presented.

To complete their respective programs, Sis. Rose Araniego facilitated the afternoon session for each apostolate/ministry to come up with their budget proposal for BOTs review and approval.
The accomplishment for the day was a CALENDAR of ACTIVITIES for 2011 with the corresponding budget.

Rev. Fr. Domie Guzman, SSP, ME-Mater Dei’s spiritual adviser, celebrated the mass which highlighted the day’s activity. In his homily he made emphasis on “TEAMWORK and UNITY”.

Apostolates and Ministries represented were: MLA, SGA, WM, MM, FLA, ORA, TSE and Temporalities. The activity was held at Bonaventure Blg., Greenhill, San Juan, Metro Manila., last October 24, 2011.
