October is celebrated in the Catholic Church as the Rosary Month to honor our Blessed Mother Mary, the Queen of the Holy Rosary. Last Friday, October 8, 2010 at the Prayer Gathering at Violago Chapel was dedicated to the celebration of the Rosary Month. Members of the community sought Mama Mary’s intercession by lighting candles as they pray each bead of the rosary.

Tagged as the Living Rosary, the first lighting of the candles was for ten (10) SADERs who formed the Crucifix while BOT President Couple started of with the Apostles Creed and the Our Father. The Three Hail Marys were lighted up by BOT Lorenz Weng Tabilog, Jojie Fe Guballa and Demet Rose Araniego and the Glory Be was recited by everybody. .

The First Joyful Mystery was led by BOT Jun Adel Tambasacan together with the Chaircouple of MLA Migo Len Vargas and their workers lighting for every bead. They prayed that the Mother of God be always be the link and knot for the love and unity that each member gives to our community. May we also be like Mary in obedience and himility in the fulfillment of God’s plan.

The Second Joyful Mystery was led by Nono Cecile Delgado together with SGA Chaircouple Jun Mylene Pineda and their workers. They offered the second mystery to the leaders, and workers of our community. Like Mary, may they be the ideal emissaries of charity and be filled with apostolic zeal.

Then Pris Vicky Contreras and the Family Life Apostolate with Chair Couple Mon Noemi Giron prayed on to offer the 3rd mystery to the different Apostolates and Ministries of Mater Dei. May they continue to be the community’s arms in the fulfillment of its vision/mission.

Tom Marian Co and the workers of ORA offered the 4th mystery to the different programs of our community. They prayed that these programs continue to be successful in the spiritual nourishment and the strengthening of relationship of couples, families and members of the community.

The fifth mystery was represented by the Music Ministry, RTDM, Publication and Info, TSE, Temporalities and was led by BOT Noy Gay Manalo. May Jesus through Mary, shower us with guidance and perseverance so we may remain faithful to our promises in serving Him.

Reciting the Rosary was a very solemn moment for the Mater Dei Community and this moment of prayers was relived by the Worship Ministry headed by Ryck Cres de Paz to commemorate the Rosary Month.
