The Marriage Encounter Foundation of the Philippines (MEFP) tapped the Mater Dei M.E. Community to lead other M.E. Communities in offering a vigil and liturgical services in fulfillment of its commitment to the CBCP through the Sangguniang Laiko ng Pilipinas in its yearly activity.

The vigil prayers which was held last September 3, 2010 at the Catholic Bishop Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) Chapel in Intramuros, Manila was attended by the groups of God the Father of Fort Bonifacio, Legion of Mary, St. Pius X of Onyx, Paco Chapter and the Mater Dei M.E. Community. The Prayer Vigil started at 9:00 a.m. and then gave way to the con-celebration of the Holy by Bishop Garcera, Msgrs. Biboy Figueroa and Lito Asis at 11:30 a.m., assisted by the following members of our community who served in different capacities to wit:

Commentator - Sis Rhodora Bohol
Lector - Sis Rose Araniego
Prayers of the Faithful - Sis Cecile Delgado

The MDMEC Music Ministry led by Jojie Fe Guballa provided the liturgical music during the Holy Mass.

The Vigil Prayers then resumed after the Holy Mass. This time the recitation of the Rosary was alternately led by Sis Adora Mabesa and Sis Mylene Pineda as they were joined by Ding Susan Mayor, Nono Cecile Delgado, Demet Rose Araniego, Jojie Fe Guballa, Lorenz Tabilog, Baby Pascual, Ben Letty Bernardo, Bobby Mabesa, Rey Baby Cruz, Chit Escosio, Jun Pineda, Obet Len Roxas, Jerry Beth Arre, Edgar Tess Capiral, Boyet Jenny Gumabao, Dheng Gina Ildefonso, Chris Angie Lacaba, Noy Jasmin Ojenar, Len Elesis, Jun Cynthia Guiang, Bong Nora Salvador, Santa Rey Samson, Ron Nancy Selda and Ega Anna Siñerez.
