REGULAR MEETING - 22 August 2007

1. PRAYER LEADER SEMINAR - Date of seminar was changed from August 12 to September 01, 2007, 1:00 – 5:00PM, with Domeng Rodillas as the resource speaker. Venue is set at Tuklong, SVD.

2. MEFP Festival of Songs – Our Community will join the MEFP Festival of Songs on Nov. 17, 2007, ULTRA.

3. Office door lock – Change of office door lock (small room) will be done soon. The Board agreed that the following persons are the key holders of the small room: RBCruz, TCo & AFernandez. All requests for the use of equipments stored in the small room such as the musical instruments should be coordinated with these persons for proper release/issuance.

4. ‘BALIK’ MATER DEI COMMITTEE – MCo reported that she already coordinated with NGManalo for the invitation of former BOTs as Lectors and Offerors in the September 7, first Friday Mass. Part of this program is short a Catechism on the Catholic Church to form part in our prayer gathering effective September. This shall be handled by DRAraniego. The following will be our weekly schedule of activities:

In addition to the 1st  Friday Mass on Sept. 7,   we will also celebrate Mama Mary’s Birthday, with the theme:

“Alay ng Pamilya kay Inang Maria.”

Families are encouraged to take part in the Holy Mass as offerors.  Birthday cake and balloons will be solicited from JTambasacan and EGTapoc, respectively c/o TMCo.

5. UPDATES COMMITTEE – The Board approved the policies/guidelines as regards articles for publication in Updates submitted by the committee. The policies/guidelines shall be published in our Updates.

6. PRE-PLANNING CONFERENCE - The Board approved the Pre-Planning
Conference on 22 September 2007, MDMEC Office with the following schedule:

7. FAMILY FUN DAY, October 28, 2007 – Albert Liza Flores presented to the Board the schedule of activities of the Family Fun Day. They were instructed to coordinate with the other ministries and apostolates so that they could solicit their assistance. The Board made some suggestions as to having special/surprise awards and in making the occasion a real fun day for the family and our community. PVContreras issued to AL Flores the corresponding check of P3,000, as deposit for the venue – Dept. of Agrarian Reform Multi-Purpose Covered Court.

8. Advent Recollection – PVContreras informed the Board of the Advent Recollection scheduled on November 18, with Fr. Domie as Recollection Master. Venue will be announced later.

9. MDMEC Primer - SAsia reported that MDMEC Primer is now in the website.
