SPECIAL MEETING – July 18, 2007

1. WORKERS’ MEETING -The Board approved the holding of a Workers’ meeting on August 5, 2007, Sunday, 9 AM up to 1 PM.  Venue is tentatively set at Tuklong, SVD.  DRAraniego shall handle the reservation/confirmation of venue.  Traditional and Special Events Ministry, headed by Albert Liza Flores shall be in charge of the venue set-up, sound system, etc.

2. ORA’S REQUEST FOR GASOLINE ALLOWANCE - OrA requested for gasoline allowance for three (3) vehicles for their outreach program at the Women’s Center, Guiguinto, Bulacan.  This is a joint program with Gen. T. de Leon Ugnayan Community.     The commodities/goods offered in TV Mass every 1st Sunday were given to ORA for their disposal through their outreach projects. The Board approved the grant of  gasoline allowance in the amount of P1,000.

3. ELCO OFFICE RENTAL –  We received a letter from ELCO Management informing us that a ten (10%) rental increase would take effect  starting July 2007.  Present rental is P10,700.  The President informed the Board that ELCO has not charged us any rental increase for the past three years, despite the provision in the Lease Contract that there would be annual increase in rentals. Office rental is inclusive of the telephone line.

4. MASS WEDDING – MLA, through MCo, advised the Board as regards the change of wedding date:  from August 14 to August 3, Friday, 10AM, Sto. Domingo Church, Quezon Ave., Q.C. Nine (9) couples have completed the requirements, while eight (8) couples are still subject for interview/seminar.   Mater Dei will join the parish’s mass wedding on said date and our Music Ministry shall provide the music.
   
5. TV MASS – The Committee Chair reported that we were short by P17,410.75 for the July 1 TV Mass.  The Committee appealed for more support from the Community so that we would avoid deficits in the future. It was agreed that the Temporalities Ministry should be involved in the TV Mass project.

6. GOLF TOURNAMENT – The Financial Report on the Golf Tournament held at the Veterans Golf Club last July 8, 2007 revealed that MDMEC posted a net revenue of P114,371.50 although there are still some receivables.  Golf Sponsors shall be acknowledged in the Updates and in our website.

7. SALE OF TWO INDUSTRIAL FANS - The Board agreed to sell, through bidding,  the two (2) industrial electric fans which have not been used for a long time because Violago Chapel prohibited its use. The minimum bid for both fans shall be P1,500.  This will be announced during the  prayer gathering. The Board also agreed that an inventory of the community’s furniture/fixtures and equipments should be made by General Services (Rey Baby Cruz) as soon as possible.

REGULAR MEETING - July 25, 2007

1. WORKERS’ MEETING - Worker’s meeting shall start at 10:00 AM instead of  9:00 AM as previously announced.

2. ELCO OFFICE RENTAL - We were able to convince ELCO Management to increase our monthly rental by only five (5) per cent effective July 2007.  Monthly rental will now be P11,206.82 (inclusive of the regular monthly telephone bill).
 
3. MASS WEDDING -  Thirteen  (13) couples from our Community are expected to participate in the mass wedding on August 3.

4. TV MASS - The Committee Chair reported that for August, two of our TV Mass sponsors would be the God The Father Community c/o Dr. Adraneda and St. Francis of Assisi Parish. The latter would provide the choir.

5. FAMILY DAY -  The Board approved to hold the  Family Day  on 28 October 2007.    Traditional & Special Events Ministry, headed by Albert Liza Flores, shall submit the program of activities to the Board before 22 August, for review and approval.   

6. PRAYER LEADER SEMINAR -  The Board approved the request of Worship Ministry to
hold a Prayer Leader Seminar/Workshop on 12 August 2007 with Bro. Domeng Rodillas as its resource person.

7. ‘BALIK’ MATER DEI PROGRAM  - TMCo presented their proposals as follows:

1. invite old members to take part in first Friday Masses as lectors & offerors beginning September and every quarter thereafter
2. invite old M.E. classes, chapters to participate in action songs/music
3. SADERS to participate in the Prayer Gathering  for the whole month of October.

8. ‘SHARING‘ OF ANSWERED PRAYERS - The Board approved LEGarcia’s suggestion to allot some time during the prayer gathering for members who would like to give testimony as regards answered prayers/petitions/blessings.  This shall be done every 3rd Friday of the month.   Sharers must write down their testimony, which should not be more than five minutes, and submit the same to the Worship Head Couple for review.

9. PLANNING CONFERENCE - As previously scheduled, this activity shall be conducted as follows:

     Pre-Planning Conference          -            September 22, 2007
     Planning Conference                 -            October 27, 2007
 
10. OFFICE DOOR LOCK - The Board approved the request to have the lock of MDMEC office (small room) changed for proper safekeeping of the Community’s records and other assets.
