REGULAR MEETING – June 13, 2007
(nine members of the BOT were present)

1. TV MASS COMMITTEE - OTMercado reported on the June 10 TV Mass as follows:
             Total Collection                     :             P 20,113*
             Actual Net Collection            :              16,213

*pledges to be collected are included.

2. GOLF TOURNAMENT - LTabilog said that the tournament date has been moved from July 01 to July 8 so that it would not be held simultaneous with the Healing Eucharist. LTabilog distributed ten (10) solicitation letters and five (5) tickets per BOT couple.

3. MEMORABILIA - SAsia announced that the Memorabilia is already out at P50@.   Copies are still available.

4. PRIMER / HANDBOOK - SAsia reported that the handbook is almost done.  Printing cost for the primer is still being contracted/determined.  

5. Office Repairs/Refurbishing - Repairs/refurbishing is almost done.  JJLangcay submitted a report on disposable items and a proposal for additional built-in cabinets.  Additional budget of P5,000 was allocated.  VContreras shall ask help from LVargas re price of disposable items.  Announcements in the prayer gathering shall be made for disposable items.

6. Mass Wedding - Mass Wedding is reset to August 14, Tuesday, 2:00- 4:00 pm, Sto. Domingo Parish, Quezon Ave., QC.    MCo suggested that the Mass Wedding be assigned to CAM since this is a community affair.   The Board unanimously agreed.

7. ‘Balik’ Mater Dei Program - MCo aired the need to have this program not only to increase the number but to see old members again.  LJEGarcia, TMCo, LWTabilog & DRAraniego were assigned to handle this program – to make a study and formulate ideas.  They shall submit a report on the next meeting.

8. Good Shepherd Community Fund Raising - Good Shepherd asked for our support in their fund raising project.  Raffle tickets (10 pcs) priced at P1,000 were given to us.  Mater Dei shall buy 2 tickets or P2,000, to be taken from the community fund.   Selling of raffle tickets shall be announced in our Prayer Gathering after the Golf Tournament on July 8.

9. MEFP Board Meeting - SSantos reported on the MEFP Board meeting with Fr. Tanseco,  held in MEFP Office, CEFAM, Ateneo Compound.

10. Updates - SAsia requested Garcia, Co, Tabilog couples to set up guidelines as regards what articles/topics are proper  for publication.  The President, being the head of the Editorial Board, shall have the authority to approve what articles are to be published, based on the guidelines.

SPECIAL MEETING
(with Incoming Head Couples/Chair Couples)

1. Orientation/Fellowship meeting with incoming Head Couples/Chair Couples: SAsia explained the new organizational set-up of the community as ratified in the referendum held last March 23. Copies of the duties and responsibilities of each Apostolate, Ministry, & Support Groups were given to respective leaders to serve as guide in handling/managing their group. SAsia stressed that the leaders are given leeway to make adjustments, if needed, to further enhance their apostolate/ministry.

2. GOLF TOURNAMENT - LTabilog appealed to the group about the solicitation letters and reported that as of 27 June, only P21,000 has been remitted to the treasurer.

3. TV MASS COMMITTEE - OTMercado requested assistance in handling solicitations for the TV Mass Committee. The Board decided to form two (2) groups to alternately handle the solicitation aspect of this project, with OTMercado as its over-all chairman. This shall take effect in September 2007, with group assigned first. Below are the composition of the two (2) groups:

The Board also noted the existing support in the TV Mass of : LRBohol, FMSantos, & NLGepilano.

LTabilog said that there is a need to increase manpower in the solicitation of TV Mass sponsors. He further suggested the inclusion of Temporalities Ministry (formerly Ways and Means) to be part of the TV Mass Committee.

4. MDMEC PRIMER - SAsia informed the group of the following quotations submitted in the printing of MDMEC’s Primer:

The Board unanimously agreed to award the printing of Primer to SACariaga and request them to submit sample before the final printing.

5. OFFICE REFURBISHING/ INVENTORY OF SUPPLIES/DISPOSAL OF OLD FURNITURES & EQUIPMENTS - Additional (built-in) cabinets in the office room were already constructed under the supervision of ASM Head, Rey Baby Cruz. Likewise, inventory of supplies shall be conducted by ASM. RCManuel bought two old (2) ceiling fans at P100 each. Amount was remitted to VContreras
