1. M.E.W. Financial Reports – PVContreras reported that:
- BMLopez, Class 248 – submitted their financial report to RVVenezuela but have not given a copy to PVContreras.
- RC de Pas, Class 249 – submitted only photocopies of their report, subject to verification with RVVenezuela
- RNGuerrero - still with outstanding balance of P1,200.
2. Issuance of new IDs - The Board approved the quotation/proposal submitted (P70/person) with the following specifications:
- size (credit card size) and format of ID shall be patterned after old ID, with bluish background;
- revised vision/mission; sample of ID shall be prepared by SAsia for reference and guidance of photographer/printer.
3. Music Ministry - JFGuballa presented/referred to the Board the quotations from Yamaha re: purchase of musical instruments which the Board approved.
SAsia also gave a copy to JFGuballa of MEFP’s letter invitation in the forthcoming Songfest on November. JFGuballa will discuss this with the Music Ministry.
4. Golf Tournament - Additional raffle prizes solicited by EJimenez like golf shoe bags, Samsonite utility bags, and two desk fans were delivered for safekeeping.
The Board assigned DRAraniego to handle purchase of major prizes – TV set, DVD player, washing machine, microwave oven.
5. Treasurer’s Report - The Board took note of the Treasurer’s Report as of 22 April 2008, as submitted by PVContreras:

6. Election of Officers for 2008-2009 – The following are the results of the election:

Nine (9) Board of Trustees were present during the election. The Board issued a new resolution for the Bank signatories and a letter informing the MEFP about the election shall be prepared. DRAraniego were appointed as Asst. Secretary.
7. Solidarity Meeting - SAsia attended the Solidarity Meeting initiated by Good Shepherd MEC on how communities could support each other especially in M.E. Weekends when prospective candidates are becoming scarce lately. Majority of the representatives from other community agreed to send their candidates to Mater Dei, since we are holding Weekends eight (8) times a year. Representatives shall discuss the matters with their elders, and if approved, this will start in July 2008. |
