1. TREASURER’S REPORT:
The Board took note of the Treasurer’s Report as of 23 December 2007, to wit:
Cash in Bank (Savings/Current Account) P 182,690.27
Time Deposit 500,000.00
P 682,690.27
The Board noticed the unusually high electric consumption for the month of November which was reflected in the December Meralco bill in the amount of P8,978.45. It was agreed that the policy of registration in the log book (date and period of time) of all users of MDMEC office should strictly be implemented.
Likewise, the Board approved, with the consent of Aida Fernandez, that telephone inquiries/requests/follow-ups from members of Mater Dei, and even from outside callers shall be accommodated by Sis. Aida using her residence landline – 4119607.
2. TV Mass - The Board took note of the December TV Mass Report submitted by its Project Coordinator Fred Miriam Santos with net proceeds of P48,000.00. OTMercado was tasked to present/discuss the TV Report Form prepared by LEGarcia to FMSantos for their implementation/accomplishment effective February 2008.
3. Keeping the Fires Burning – The Board agreed to include NBPascual as member of this committee. TMCo shall inform the couple on this.
4. MEW Financial Report - VContreras reported that the following are for compliance:
4.1. RNGuerrero - Remittance of P2,200 to the Treasurer (based from the Financial Report submitted by Class 247 last July 2007).
4.2. BMLopez (Class 248) - No Financial Report yet.
4.3. RC de Pas (Class 249) - No Financial Report yet
RCManuel shall issue Notice of Board Action to all concerned.
Upon suggestion of Mco, the Board agreed that folders of MEW, LSS, and MSS Classes be given to AFernandez for safekeeping and reference. Also, AFernandez shall report to the Board in their regular meeting an update of these files as submitted by the Apostolates concerned.
5. Donation of Cash or Flowers to Deceased Members - The Board clarified that Cash assistance or flowers coming from the Community which are to be given to relatives of deceased members should be coordinated with the Treasurer alone.
6. Christmas Encounter
Taking into consideration and applying the Love Offering during the Holy Mass of P6,700, the additional expenses of the Community amounted to P612.50.
7. MDMEC Promotional items: Key chains and stickers are now being sold for only P50 and P10 each, respectively. Memorabilia is being given to new graduates and other members of the community at no cost.
8. ORA Activities :
8.1. ‘Tahanan ni Maria’ Outreach - The Board took note of this project.
8.2. Bolinao Ugnayan (Feb. 16-17) - The Board approved the request of Sis. Clara, a nun from Bolinao, Pangasinan to hold an Ugnayan Seminar. The Board also approved the transportation allowance of P1,000 per team couple.
9. Meeting with Apostolates/Ministries - The Board agreed to invite the following Apostolates/Ministries for updates and other concerns:
9.1. SGA and Temporalities - January 30, Thursday, 7PM*
9.2. MLA and ORA - February 7, Thursday, 7PM*

RCManuel shall issue Notices of Board Action to all concerned.
10. MEFP Letter – SAsia presented the letter of invitation from MEFP regarding the CPPJ & ME 2 Seminars. ME 2 is scheduled on Feb 1-3 at St. Scholastica, Tagaytay. Seminar fee is P3,000. ME 2 is highly recommended for couples who have already attended the SDR Seminar. OTMercado and PVContreras expressed their interest to attend. The community will subsidize half of seminar fee.

13. SVD Retreat House - TCo reported that SVD Retreat House shall increase their rate from P2,200 to P2,400 per couple effective February. MEW Venue for February is Mater Cristi. |
