1. TREASURER'S REPORT:

The Board took note of the Treasurer’s Report as of 24 June 2008, as submitted by PVContreras:

VContreras also reported that an MEW Class has yet to fully settle its financial obligation (RNGuerrero) and two other MEW Classes have yet to submit their MEW Financial Reports (RCde Pas and BMLopez).  CManuel will issue a Notice of Board Action to MLA HC RVVenezuela to make the necessary action/s on these.

2. COMMITTEE REPORTS:

a. KEEPING THE FIRES BURNING - The Board took note of the report submitted by NBPascual pertaining to the PG Attendance Record  for the period  April – May 2008 and the birthday/wedding celebrators for the month of July 2008. It was decided that Committee Chair TMCo shall issue commendation letter/s to members with perfect attendance every quarter.  NBPascual shall be requested to provide acetates of the list of members with perfect attendance.
           
b. CHAPTERS & AFFILIATES – The members present agreed that there are no indications in the resolutions passed by the Board (Nov. 1996 to Feb. 2007) that graduates of M.E. live-outs are not regular members of MDMEC. SAsia also added that the Articles of Incorporation (as amended) and the BY-Laws (new or as amended) during 2001 and which, most likely, were the charter documents at the time the ME live-out classes were conducted  does not categorically exclude graduates of ME live-outs as regular members. It was agreed that the matter would be subjected to further discussion and that the corresponding updated guidelines on chapters and affiliates shall be issued.    

5. AWARDING OF RECOGNITION for 2007-2008 WORKERS: 
Awarding of Recognition shall also be done on July 4, 2008 preceding the workers’ installation.  Snacks (empanada and juice) will be served to all.  This will be handled by Traditional & Special Events Ministry.

6. APOSTOLIC ADVISERS: PContreras suggested having Apostolic Advisers with old Board as members.   This shall be   discussed further in the succeeding meetings of BOTs.
